We all get enthusiastic about the positive sides of enlightenment, all that inspiring wisdom and the enthusiasm that rises from discovering our heart’s desire. These goddies distract from the necessary but tedious work – the dissolution of negative mental patterns, the chains that hold us back from reaching illumination.

Karma Land is an adaptation of the eighteenth Tarot card, The Moon. I had this picture made for a meme. The path through the hills in the foreground symbolizes a common lifestyle, the ups and downs of good and bad experiences, success and failure, and good and bad karma.
